Book & Supplies List 2014-2015
Greetings! Below is listed you will need for the upcoming school year. Some are optional; most are required. Please have books purchased and delivered to your home before the first day of school (August 29).
Most books can be ordered on the bigger websites (Amazon, CBD, etc.), but the Story of the World student pages can only be ordered on their website (http://peacehillpress.com/history-geography/student-pages-vol.-1-revised-edition/). In the past, Logos Recitations ordered these for each student. This year you will be responsible for ordering your own. Feel free to get together with a few other families and order together! It will save on shipping costs. And if you have the right CBD catalogue, they have free shipping on orders over $35.
As noted before, there may be a small fee to you for curriculum purchases we make for the entire co-op. Science supplies, test masters, IEW copyrights, etc add up. Our registration fees were designed to cover craft supplies, copies and facilities. They are also being used to cover our accounting costs. Some of this money may cover those minimal curriculum fees. We will try to keep you posted as soon as we can.
In regards to science, Exploring Creation with Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day will not be used until after Christmas. It is not necessary to have that set purchased by August 29, but it should be purchased and in your possession by January 23.
Finally, you only need to purchase one text book per family. For example, you will only need one Story of the World reader. However, each student needs the consumable workbooks (student pages/journals). If you have a question about this, please contact me.
Please note that we are not able to leave any of our supplies at Bridge Bible Fellowship. These supplies should be transported in a sturdy backpack each week to class. Please keep pencils sharpened from week to week, and replenish glue sticks, pencils, etc. as they run out.
